New Traffic Violation Fines In UAE 2022

Careless driving in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, will result in a fine of 800 dirhams and four penalty points. In the UAE, irresponsible driving is the leading cause of car accidents; drivers become reckless when they use mobile devices while driving, such as taking photos, adjusting their makeup or hair, or even conversing with other passengers.

In the UAE state of Sharjah, however, the number of traffic accidents has increased by 46% in the last year. During the UAE National Day holiday, 84 traffic incidents were reported in Sharjah, with the highest number of 287 accidents occurring on December 4 last year.

Over the length of the UAE National Day holiday last year, 579 incidents were reported in Sharjah. During the UAE’s 50th National Day celebrations, a total of 846 minor traffic accident complaints were received in Sharjah, with road accidents occurring between December 1 and December 4.

The Joint Committee for Traffic Accidents Survey in Sharjah released the report. According to the latest numbers, 579 incidents were reported in the emirate in comparison to the same period last year, showing an almost 46 percent rise.

 

According to data acquired via the Ravid application and the company’s contact center over these holidays, the highest number of traffic accidents occurred on December 4 in a single day, with the lowest number occurring on December 3.

According to Abdul Rahman Al Shamsi, a member of the Public Transport Authority Department and the Joint Committee, the number of traffic accidents increases over the holidays because drivers want to get to their destinations faster and do not follow traffic laws and regulations.
